On the day I checked out, he was back in the little booth. And then later that same day, the attendant was gone again and the gates were open to come and go. He called and they added charges to my room, but I still never got the required ticket. Later in the week the gates were closed and the attendant wouldn't let me out without a ticket from the front desk. There are big signs which say parking is $14 per day, but I was never asked anything about parking when I checked in and the gates were open with no attendant for a couple of days. It's obvious they've been trained (very well) to be overly helpful and gracious. A couple of observations which might be helpful: 1) The staff was well above par. This hotel is a standard Marriott which is to say the linens are nice, it's very clean, the amenities are above average, the room is a decent size and well appointed, etc.
